About the Role As a Product Manager for Consumer Applications, you will work cross-functionally with all stakeholders to define product requirements and see the implementation through to completion, leading development efforts between our Machine Learning, Backend, Frontend and UI/UX teams. You will play a crucial role leading the deployment of Hive’s best-in-class AI solutions into the hands of consumers. You are both the foundation and the catalyst for Hive’s growth in consumer applications, serving as the bridge between our customers and dev teams as new features are launched and optimized.  Who We Are We are a group of ambitious individuals who are passionate about creating a revolutionary AI company. The current expected base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 - $170,000. Actual compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work; stock options may be offered in addition to the range provided here. country: all locations: [San Francisco] commitment: Full-time department: Hive location: San Francisco team: Product & Engineering Responsibilities: Own the roadmap, functional requirements, and development timeline for one or more of our consumer productsDevelop a clear product roadmap, and oversee execution from inception to completionWork with the executive team to determine top priorities, help define new features, and improve our consumer applications habituallyAnalyze user data and feedback to identify opportunities for feature enhancements and driving further user engagementDefine and measure KPIs to track the success of our consumer applications and identify opportunities for feature enhancementsHelp engineering and product teams estimate and decompose complex projects into manageable parts with delivery plans, and track progress against those plansClearly communicate product benefits to our users and internal stakeholdersMeasure engineering velocity, and help identify and establish new best practices to improve the speed and security at which projects are deliveredMaintain awareness of industry best practices for data maintenance handling as it relates to your roleAdhere to policies, guidelines and procedures pertaining to the protection of information assetsReport actual or suspected security and/or policy violations/breaches to an appropriate authority Requirements: You have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar fieldYou have 2+ years of Product Management experienceYou have hands-on experience building consumer applications (both web and mobile)You have technical experience with any of the following: data, analytics, design or engineeringYou have technical depth that lets you understand tradeoffs and ask engineers insightful questions about architecture and product decisions alikeYou have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skillsYou have experience leading a team, and effectively implementing team goals and deadlinesYou are comfortable with — and can thrive in — an environment that is fast paced in a competitive industryYou are detail-oriented, organized, collaborative, and hands-onBeyond just shipping new products, you obsess about continuous product improvement
