Overview
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing Finance team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring accurate payroll, compensation, and expense accounting while partnering closely with teams across the company. Responsibilities
Payroll & Compensation
Own end-to-end payroll processing for 400+ employees across multiple entities and regions
Ensure payroll is accurately recorded through journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities
Partner with HR and external payroll providers to keep employee data accurate and resolve any discrepancies
Prepare and review payroll-related tax filings and compliance requirements
Support equity and stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718, including grant tracking, expense calculations, and disclosures
General Accounting & Expenses
Process high volumes of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently in Tipalti
Review invoices for proper approval, coding, and supporting documentation
Code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts, cost centers, and departments
Resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries
Process Improvement & Collaboration
Look for opportunities to improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls
Collaborate with FP&A, Revenue Operations, and other business partners on compensation-related reporting
Support annual audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor requests
Assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses as the business continues to grow
Education & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a high-growth, technology, SaaS, or adtech environment
Strong understanding of GAAP, particularly related to payroll, compensation, expense, and equity accounting
Experience working with multi-state and/or international payroll
Familiarity with stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718
Experience using equity management platforms such as Carta or Shareworks
Experience with accounting software (Sage IntAcct, NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred)
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, XLookups, financial modeling)
Exposure to sales compensation structures and commission accounting is a plus
CPA or CPA candidate preferred, but not required
Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
Clear, collaborative communicator who enjoys working cross-functionally
US Jobs: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the TripleLift US salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of TripleLift’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
