For most of them, the quality of guidance they receive in the months before they apply shapes where they end up. A counsellor who knows the right programmes. An advisor who understands what a student's profile actually makes possible. A platform that makes the process navigable rather than overwhelming.
This role sits inside that moment, every day.
As University Enrolment Advisor, you'll be embedded full-time at Manchester Global School in Hyderabad as Cialfo's in-house advisor, working directly with students at every stage of their university journey: from first exploration through shortlisting, application, offer acceptance, and enrolment. You'll work within the school's hours and operational calendar, serve as the face of Cialfo's Direct Apply platform on campus, and lead a small team of advisors to deliver high-quality student engagement at scale.
Direct Apply is Cialfo's own application portal, giving students direct access to educational programmes across the world. The University Enrolment Advisor is the human layer that makes that platform genuinely useful to the students who need it most.

Most advisory roles in overseas education sit inside an agency or a counselling centre, working with students who find their way to you. This one is different.
You're embedded inside a school, which means you work with students from the beginning of their thinking, not after they've already decided. You see the full journey: the student who hasn't considered studying abroad yet, the one who has a strong profile but no clear direction, and the one who is ready to apply but needs someone to help them navigate the process without making avoidable mistakes.
You're also backed by Cialfo's platform and university network. The tools, the data, the university relationships, and the Direct Apply infrastructure sit behind everything you do. You're not operating as a standalone advisor. You're the on-the-ground extension of a platform used by 2,000+ schools globally.
What You Own
Student guidance across the full application journey Work directly with students at Manchester Global School through every stage of their university journey: search, application, document preparation, submission, offer acceptance, and enrolment Guide students to identify the right programmes for their profile and aspirations across UK, USA, ANZ, and other destinations, with genuine knowledge of what those universities look for and how admissions decisions are made Respond to inbound enquiries from students, parents, and counsellors about programmes on Cialfo, with the depth of knowledge and the communication quality that builds trust quickly
Direct Apply adoption and platform engagement Act as Cialfo's ambassador on campus: activate students onto the platform, drive usage in university search and application activities, and build the kind of platform engagement that converts into completed applications Deliver presentations and workshops at the school that promote Direct Apply adoption and help students understand what the platform makes possible Stay current on the university programmes and profiles within your allocated network so that the guidance you give is specific and accurate, not generic
Events and university partnerships Create, manage, and support student-facing events: university fairs, university representative visits, student workshops, and brand awareness events on campus Liaise between university representatives and the school to facilitate events that build genuine awareness and drive Direct Apply applications Work with the University Partnerships team to identify and plan university-focused events that serve both student and institutional interests
Market intelligence Identify opportunities to improve how Cialfo supports students in this market and represent what you're hearing from students, parents, and counsellors back to the wider team Be the person who knows what is happening at the ground level in Hyderabad's international school market and can translate that into useful feedback for product and operations
What Success Looks Like
The markers below reflect where Cialfo's presence at Manchester Global School is today. We'll calibrate the specifics once you're in the seat. These are directional, not fixed.
You'll start by building a clear picture of the student cohort, understanding where students are in their university thinking, which stages of the journey need the most support, and where the team's current processes can be improved. You'll have a view on where to focus first.
From there, student engagement with the platform will be stronger. More students will be actively using Direct Apply. Application quality will be higher. Events will be running consistently and generating real pipeline for university partners. The team will be clearer on their roles and more effective in their day-to-day work.
Over time, Manchester Global School will be one of Cialfo's strongest embedded partnerships in India, with a track record of student outcomes that reflects what genuinely good university guidance looks like in practice.
The specifics will be calibrated once you're in the role. The direction won't change.
What You Bring
You have two to three years in overseas education counselling, admissions advisory, or a related role, with real knowledge of university admissions processes across at least one of the key destinations: UK, USA, or ANZ. You've guided students through the full journey before, from shortlisting through to enrolment, and you understand what makes the difference between an application that works and one that doesn't.
You're a strong communicator with genuine consultative instincts. You listen before you advise. You ask the questions that get to what a student actually needs rather than what they think they want. You build trust with students, parents, and school staff quickly because you know the subject and you're honest about it.
You're comfortable leading a small team. You've mentored or guided junior colleagues before, or you're ready to step into that responsibility. You can balance your own advisory targets with the oversight and coaching the team needs without dropping either.
You're energised by daily student interaction. This is a high-touch, high-engagement role where the quality of every conversation matters. That suits you.
You're proficient with CRM tools and comfortable working within structured processes and reporting frameworks.
