This role offers the opportunity to lead a team, influence senior leadership, and bring greater clarity and transparency to product costs, forecasting, and financial performance. ๐Ÿ’ช Why Youโ€™ll Love Working Here ๐Ÿš€ Join a rapidly growing organization where your work directly supports business decisions ๐Ÿงฎ Play a high-impact role partnering closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Finance ๐Ÿ“Š Influence senior leadership with insights that drive pricing, investment, and cost strategy ๐Ÿ‘ฅ Lead and develop a team while shaping best-in-class cost accounting processes ๐Ÿข Enjoy a hybrid work model based out of our Norwood, MA corporate headquarters ๐Ÿ” Work in an environment that values curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement ย  ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ What Youโ€™ll Do ๐Ÿ‘ฅ Manage, train, and develop the Cost Accounting team while ensuring organizational goals are met or exceeded ๐Ÿ“ˆ Build advanced cost-of-materials and product cost models used by senior leadership to make key business decisions ๐Ÿงพ Prepare analyses, reports, and presentations with insights and recommendations for Senior Management ๐Ÿ’ผ Maintain oversight of capital-related transactions, fixed asset valuation, accounting, and reporting ๐Ÿ“Š Provide financial leadership for the Capital Planning process, including ROI analysis ๐Ÿค Serve as a financial leader on cross-functional project teams ๐Ÿ”„ Act as a key contributor to the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process ๐Ÿญ Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering to manage production costs and inventory ๐Ÿ“Š Develop and implement product cost dashboards and KPIs โš™๏ธ Manage cost systems and drive related process and protocol improvements ๐Ÿ’ฐ Budget and forecast Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) based on commodity market trends ๐Ÿ“‰ Partner with Operations leaders to analyze and track cost-savings initiatives ๐Ÿ“… Support the month-end close by reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and analyzing variances ๐Ÿ” Participate in and monitor cycle count activity within the plant ๐Ÿงฉ Maintain cost standards and bills of material for WIP and finished goods ๐Ÿ“‰ Analyze and communicate variances related to labor, yields, material usage, overhead, and absorption ๐Ÿง  Perform ad hoc analysis and support continuous process improvement initiatives ๐Ÿ”ง Complete other duties as assigned ย  ๐ŸŽ“ What Youโ€™ll Bring ๐ŸŽ“ Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting or Finance (required) ๐Ÿญ 5-7 years of cost accounting experience in a full production manufacturing environment ๐Ÿงฎ Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory controls, and manufacturing finance ๐Ÿ“Š Proven ability to mine data, build models, and develop new data streams ๐Ÿ’ป Strong ERP experience โ€” Dynamics 365, GP Dynamics, OR SAP highly preferred ๐Ÿง  Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines ๐Ÿค Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills ย  ๐ŸŒŸ Bonus Points For ๐ŸŽ“ MBA, CPA, or CMA โš™๏ธ Experience with MRP systems and advanced costing techniques ๐Ÿ“ˆ Experience building dashboards, KPIs, and financial tools for leadership ๐Ÿ”„ Demonstrated success driving process improvements in a growing environment ย  ๐Ÿญ Your Work Environment ๐Ÿข Hybrid work model based out of our Norwood, MA corporate headquarters ๐Ÿค Frequent collaboration with Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Finance teams โฑ๏ธ Fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with evolving priorities ย Exciting Benefits Await You!
