Azul is seeking a dynamic and talented senior sales leader to join us as Vice President, Sales for North America (NAM).  Reporting to our Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), this leader will be responsible for achieving Azul’s sales goals in North America.    Azul’s go-to-market model in NAM has historically been through a direct sales model, leveraging channel partners to provide value added services, support, lead generation and order fulfillment.  Channel is an untapped opportunity and is expected to contribute significantly to our growth going forward.    About You    The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in leading North America sales teams for high-growth software companies with annual revenues of at least $100million.  S/he will be a charismatic executive who possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and has experience “hunting” and opening new accounts and have a track record of building and managing teams that consistently exceed quota. Prefer experience overseeing high growth software or software-related services businesses Strong sales management fundamentals - understanding sales methodologies, team selling Proficient in all aspects of Salesforce.com Proficient in tools and techniques for prospecting and funnel building Excellent time management and organizational skills Excellent communication and team building skills Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
