Part-Time Groundskeeper (AZ)

Position: Groundskeeper (AZ) Department: Mesa Field Maintenance Reporting Manager: Head Groundskeeper Status: Part-Time Job Classification: Non-Exempt Location: Mesa, AZ About the A's: The A's are a baseball team founded in 1901. Description: The A’s are currently seeking a Part-Time Groundskeepers located in Mesa, Arizona. This position will report directly to the Head Groundskeeper. Responsibilities: Maintain Hohokam Stadium and Fitch Park Baseball Complex to the level of a professional playing field in accordance with the Major League Baseball standards and regulations Perform maintenance activities at the Hohokam Stadium and Fitch Park Baseball Complex Mow, edge, and maintain warning track  Perform pre- and post-game field maintenance Other duties as assigned Qualifications/Requirements: Knowledge and experience in sports turf and baseball maintenance Knowledge and experience in irrigation, and fertilization practices for sports turf Knowledge and experience in running heavy machinery including tractors, mowers, etc. Must be able to lift 50 lbs Willing and able to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends Must be 18 years or older The A’s Social Impact & Belonging Statement: Social Impact & Belonging are in our organizational DNA.
