What you’ll do
DoubleVerify's Product Design team shapes the user experience across every DV product line. We work on platform-wide initiatives—design systems, information architecture, permission control, and AI-enabled experiences—as well as hands-on channel and feature delivery, partnering with product management, engineering, and customer experience to build intuitive, scalable solutions.
We're looking for a product design intern who thinks in systems, solves problems analytically, and loves crafting concepts hands-on. In this role you'll help define clear, consistent interaction patterns for both human users and agentic AI workflows—using design tools like Figma alongside AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code, Claude Design, and Cursor AI. This role is a 10-week, full-time, that runs from June 12th - August 18th, 2023.
You'll work alongside product designers, product managers, and engineers—getting first-hand exposure to how design decisions shape real products. Day to day, you will:
Participate in end-to-end product design processes—from conceptual ideas to low- and high-fidelity mock-ups
Brainstorm and visualize user problems and solutions, and develop design concepts
Fine-tune design details in Figma and develop convincing prototypes in AI tools
Create short design presentations and present your findings in smaller groups for iterative feedback
Attend relevant Product Design team meetings and meetings with other cross-functional teams
Who you are
A rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in HCI, computer science, design, or a related field
Systems thinker who is action- and result-oriented—you break down complex problems and drive toward clear solutions
Comfortable with design tools like Figma, Miro, and FigJam, and curious about AI-assisted tools such as Cursor AI and Claude Design, Claude Code
General understanding of how AI models and tools work
Basic to intermediate grasp of UX/product design processes and principles
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills—you enjoy experimenting with ideas and collaborating across disciplines (engineering, product management, account management, etc.)
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Eager to translate research insights into user-friendly design solutions
Interested in digital advertising and the ad tech industry
Experience with data visualization is a plus
