JustMarkets is looking for an experienced in-house Compliance Officer to run a department and ensure top-level regulatory compliance in our Seychelles office.

In this role, the specialist will act on the company’s VASP license within our portfolio of Seychelles-licensed entities, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. You will oversee internal compliance frameworks, mitigate legal risks, and protect the company’s reputation in a fast-paced financial environment.

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and periodically update the AML/CFT/CPF Policies specifically for the Virtual Asset entity
Serve as the main point of contact (Liaison Officer) for the FSA and FIU on all VASP-related matters
Ensure the entity remains in full compliance with the VASP Act 2024, including capital adequacy reporting and custody requirements
Manage the goAML portal for the entity, including the filing of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs)
Coordinating operational activities aiming to maintain compliance with legal requirements
Identifying any compliance issues or risk of failure and timely reporting to the Board of Directors
Preparing and submitting relevant reports to the Board of Directors and regulatory bodies
Analyzing regulatory developments, new compliance legislation and market developments
Enforcing organization compliance standards, policies and procedures
Providing guidance to the company’s employees on subjects related to regulatory compliance, Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing
Conducting compliance monitoring of clients and third parties KYC
Reviewing marketing materials and monitoring of company’s website to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Provide specialized AML/CFT training to all employees involved in the crypto project, focusing on "red flags" in virtual asset transactions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in a regulated Compliance/AML role within the Seychelles financial sector
Direct experience or demonstrable training in Virtual Asset regulations and blockchain technology
Professional certification in AML/Compliance (e.g., CAMS, ICA, or CISI). A specialized "Crypto Compliance" certification is a significant advantage.
Strong risk-assessment, investigative and problem-solving capability
Excellent skills in document and process formation
Meticulous attention to detail with ability to meet tight deadlines
