You will be repairing water pipes, valves, hydrants and other appurtenances.  As well as operating a variety of heavy equipment such as excavators, track loaders, vac-trucks and backhoes.  You will also be welding and fabricating parts and tools, repairing water mains, assisting with responding to and resolving customer complaints, repairing streets, driveways and yards following installation operations.  Lastly, you will assist in locating, and inspecting new lines, and other related duties.    Positions are available for licensed, experienced operations and maintenance professionals, and for inexperienced individuals looking for their first full-time job, or those in the water/sewer industry seeking to make a career change. Those filling these rewarding, full-time positions will be part of a team responsible for the operation and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and/or process control at water and wastewater facilities. A mechanical/technical/vocational school background or experience is a plus.A valid Missouri motor vehicle operator's license.
