Anello is currently shipping product and engaged in late-stage trials with various market-leading customers in the Construction, Farming, Trucking, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Autonomous Vehicles, and National Security segments.   Job Summary: Inertial Measurement Units are a fundamental part of modern consumer, automotive, and industrial electronics. ANELLO is developing next generation INS and IMU sensor technology based on silicon photonics based gyroscope technology. The Sr. EE / HW Engineer will own critical aspects of the electrical architecture and implementation, ranging from schematic board design and layout to bring-up, debug, and validation.  In this role you will help shape future ANELLO products with a strong sense of ownership and a product-first mentality. You will help identify opportunities and drive new ideas into action, through both hands-on technical work and thoughtful cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities: Ownership of electrical product design from concept to delivery to manufacturing, proactively anticipating and addressing potential roadblocks Create interface boards and systems for manufacturing Manage electrical engineering CAD tools and libraries Work with hardware team to select components and write hardware design specifications for board level assemblies Design schematics and board layouts of medium to high complexity mixed signal PCBA Work closely with Sr ME to ensure board fitment, clearances, and thermal issues are considered during board layout Export accurate manufacturing info to key vendors to ensure board fabrication quality Export accurate BOM information to purchasing team Inspect first articles for IPC610 workmanship Assist with board bring up, debug and standard EE lab work Requirements: BSEE or MSEE degree with emphasis on Analog, Mixed Signal, and DSP Design 7+ years’ experience with schematic design, ideally w/Altium for schematic capture and board layout Experience in system designs from concept to mass production Experience with sensor integration including MEMS and GNSS RF design Front-end power supply protection for products Communication buses including RS-232, RS-422, CAN, Ethernet, SPI Track record of delivering working product at product-oriented companies Excellent communications skills Passion for continuous learning and exploring new technologies is highly valued.
