Software Tester (Manual)

We have offices in Montreal (Quebec), Austin (Texas) and Nicosia (Cyprus).    *A select number of positions require full-time in office attendance*  We are looking for a Software Tester to help the QA team deliver top quality features through extensive, fast paced testing and regression. As our SQA Tester you will take part and refine test plans to ensure increasingly thorough test coverage as well as execute the refined plans. You will also provide the team with the latest testing status of features in development and will be collaborating closely with the extended team to deliver world-class online features and services.  You will be joining a team of outgoing individuals who share a great team dynamic and are part of a fantastic company culture which promotes flexibility and balance.  What you'll be doing:  Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases as per the change requirement  Executing Manual Test Cases  Constant execution of test plans and ad hoc requests   Detecting, logging, and reporting software bugs/defects  Re-executing scenarios after bug/defect resolution  Performing Exploratory Testing to ensure Live products are working as expected   Collaborating closely with Software Developers and Product Owners   Work in an agile environment (attend daily stand-up calls, provide daily status reports and call out any issues or blockers that may delay the release)  Cross Browsing and Cross-Platform testing  What you'll need to be successful:   Must haves:   1-2 years of Manual QA experience  Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience (preferably technical discipline) is a plus  Ability to communicate effectively  Ability to conduct demos and presentations regarding the features of the product  Basic understanding of Jira Processes and Test Management tools is a big plus  A strong focus on quality with attention to detail and accuracy  Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment   An analytical problem-solver perspective with experience using Postman to troubleshoot and verify backend API response  Nice to haves:  Excellent written and verbal communication skills   Strong team spirit   Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think out-of-the-box   Has a desire to learn new skills and further enhance in the field of testing   Ability to understand the software development process lifecycle and how it fits in with the business approach and goals of the business   As an equal opportunity employer, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees  In this role you may be exposed to adult content       Offices: Λευκωσία, Cyprus (Nicosia, Cyprus);
