World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to boldly engage the world’s greatest crises in partnership with the church. The organization was founded in the aftermath of World War II to respond to the urgent humanitarian needs of war-torn Europe. Responsibilities: • Assist the Adult Education Specialist with lesson preparation, instructional materials, and classroom setup
• Support clients during English language learning, digital literacy, Café English conversational practice sessions and workforce readiness sessions. -Support ESL tutoring volunteers as they support clients
• Help maintain accurate client records, files, and data entry in program systems
• Assist with case management tasks under staff supervision
• Prepare materials and set up for workshops, classes, orientations, and trainings
• Provide logistical support during classes, meetings, and group sessions
• Help coordinate schedules, appointments, and communications with clients
• Support outreach and follow-up with clients regarding educational services and activities
• Assist with tracking client attendance, participation, and progress toward learning goals
• Connect clients to community resources that support continued education and self-sufficiency
• Perform general administrative duties as assigned to support program operations
• Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements: Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
Strong cross-cultural competency and sensitivity to the experiences of refugees and immigrants
Compassionate, professional, and client-centered approach
Clear verbal and written communication skills with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to learn new databases and case management systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Experience or coursework in adult education, ESL instruction, or English language training preferred
Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
Valid driver’s license, access to reliable vehicle and clean driving record
Preferred: High school diploma or bachelor's degree in related field.
Fluency in English required, additional languages preferred, such as Spanish, Ukrainian, Swahili, Rohingya, or Arabic
