About the Role
We are seeking a Dynamics 365 Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Field Service solutions. This role is ideal for a consultant who can confidently operate across both functional consulting and technical delivery, translating business requirements into scalable, high-performing solutions.
You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimising ERP and field service solutions while collaborating closely with stakeholders, developers, and project teams. The position requires a balance of business process understanding, technical capability, and strong communication skills to deliver impactful outcomes across complex environments.

Ideal Profile:
Experience & Qualifications
3–6 years of experience in a Dynamics 365 consulting role within a techno-functional or hybrid capacity
Strong hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations and support
Practical experience delivering or supporting Dynamics 365 Field Service solutions
Exposure to full project lifecycle delivery within ERP or enterprise system environments
Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Business Central, Field Service, or Power Platform are highly desirable
Functional & Business Expertise
Strong understanding of ERP processes including finance, procurement, inventory management, and job costing
Experience working with field service workflows including work orders, scheduling, dispatch, and asset management
Ability to gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into functional and technical solution designs
Experience mapping and optimising end-to-end operational and service delivery processes
Technical Skills
Hands-on experience developing Business Central extensions using AL
Experience designing and supporting integrations using APIs, web services, or middleware
Working knowledge of Azure services such as Logic Apps, Functions, and Service Bus
Experience building automation workflows using Power Automate
Understanding of Dynamics 365 data structures, entities, and migration strategies
Desirable experience with Power Apps and Power BI
Experience working across multi-system environments integrating ERP, CRM, and third-party platforms

Excellent communication, workshop facilitation, and documentation capabilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

Responsibilities:
Functional Consulting & Solution Design
Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional and technical solution designs
Configure and implement Dynamics 365 Business Central modules including Finance, Purchasing, Inventory, and Jobs/Projects
Design and deploy Dynamics 365 Field Service solutions including work orders, scheduling, dispatch, and mobile workflows
Lead workshops, solution design sessions, and stakeholder discussions
Technical Delivery & Development
Develop and support customisations and extensions within Business Central using AL
Design and manage integrations between Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, and third-party systems using APIs and middleware
Leverage Microsoft Power Platform tools including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to deliver automation and reporting solutions
Collaborate with developers and data engineers to ensure high-quality technical delivery
Process Optimisation & Data Management
Map and optimise end-to-end service delivery processes from job creation through to billing and reporting
Support data migration activities including mapping, transformation, validation, and migration planning
Identify opportunities for automation, integration, and operational improvement across workflows
Testing, Deployment & Support
Participate in testing, deployment, release management, and post-implementation activities
Provide user training, system documentation, and ongoing support to business users
