Responsibilities:
Own and oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and intercompany functions.
Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and tax advisors; lead audit preparation, manage inquiries, and ensure all schedules and documentation are delivered accurately and on time.
Drive process improvement and systems optimization initiatives across accounting and finance operations, including automation and scalability efforts.
Provide strategic financial insight and accounting expertise to support organizational initiatives and senior leadership decision-making.
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing accounting team; establish clear goals, provide mentorship, and cultivate a culture of accountability.
Manage treasury operations and intercompany workflows, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, HR, and business unit leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment on strategic priorities.
Support M&A activity, due diligence, and integration efforts as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
Public accounting background (Big 4 or regional firm) strongly preferred.
Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and technical accounting research.
Proven experience managing external audits and serving as a key audit liaison.
Strong systems acumen; experience with ERP platforms (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and comfort with technology-driven process improvement.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial reporting and analytics tools.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and drive organizational change.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance audiences.
