Forklift Operator - Material Handler (2nd Shift)

Position Summary Crescent FLO-MH’s are responsible for performing their assigned duties in a manner that is safe and efficient while focusing on proper handling of materials in the receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes. Crescent FLO-MH’s are expected to perform all assigned material handler duties and to operate forklift equipment, as needed. Flexible & adaptable to the needs of the operation Productivity Works at a pace to achieve production and quality goals Ensure and verify all receiving, picking, packing, and shipping are performed accurately. Pack, sort, and stack products throughout the shift and review completed tasks for accuracy and completion. Perform all activities, utilizing tools and equipment (scales, RF guns, auto-bagger, IT systems) to maximize output. Ensure all bins and work areas/stations are maintained in an orderly, organized, and trash-free manner. Maintain inventory accuracy Operates all relevant forklift equipment (cherry picker, wave unit, sit-down, stand-up) as needed. Efficiently load and unload trailers to maintain turnaround times for each dock appointment Quality Responsible for production accuracy and for providing feedback to management regarding errors Reliable in attendance and punctuality; completes assigned responsibilities to satisfaction; follows through with commitments. Work Environment / Physical Demands Fast-paced environment, requiring Material Handlers to adapt to continuous changes in priorities, volumes, and staffing requirements. Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arm’s length, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch for an extended period of time Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to make repetitive motions, including typing for several hours. Walk on concrete floors for extended periods while in the facility. Ability to work and operate in a non-climate-controlled environment. Possess the necessary level of hand/eye coordination to safely operate industrial equipment Systems Usage Customer Systems RF Scanners QuickBase WMS System SAP Performance Metrics and Trends Safety-No incidents People- Excellent attendance and teamwork Productivity- Works efficiently and effectively Quality- Pay attention to the quality of what is produced Customer Value- Understand the need to satisfy the customer Qualifications Desired Education, Experience, & Qualifications:                                                                                                                    High School diploma or GED Ability to follow English written and oral instructions Ability to work well with others Possess basic math skills Dependable & reliable Data entry Prior experience operating forklift equipment Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years of prior material handling and/or warehousing experience Regulatory cGMP manufacturing experience Forklift certified Word processing, database, and spreadsheet knowledge Detail oriented Flexibility with hours worked  We will know that the FLO-MH is successful if they can:  Operate safely Operate efficiently Operate as part of a team.
