About this role

Your Impact The Senior IT Systems Administrator is a technical leader within the IT Operations team responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT systems and infrastructure. They play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of the IT environment. They serve as a technical architect and coach for the IT team, and implement valuable enhancements to systems and processes based on deep understanding of business operations. What You'll Do Identity Ownership: Key responsibility for all Identity systems at DISCO. Builds and maintains the most secure solutions to enable business teams to serve internal and external customers quickly and efficiently.  Virtualization Ownership: Designs, implements and employs continuous improvement methodologies to DISCO virtualization services (AWS). Partners with business teams to proactively build solutions to enhance effectiveness and efficiency, leveraging automation to support functional processes.  IT Systems Management: Works with the IT team to administer, monitor, and maintain the organization's IT systems, including virtual systems and networks, physical networks, engineering tooling as well as collaboration tools.  Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Designs and implements IT infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements and ensures scalability and reliability.  Security and Compliance: Enforces IT security policies and best practices, conducts regular security audits, and ensures compliance with relevant regulations.  Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implements and maintains backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical data and ensure business continuity. Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provides escalated technical support for complex IT issues and coordinates with vendors when necessary. Who You Are 5-7+ years of experience in IT systems administration or infrastructure management roles. ● 3+ years of advanced experience with Okta  3+ years of advanced experience with AWS services  Experience in managing and maintaining enterprise-level IT systems and infrastructure.  Deep technical understanding of technical concepts like mail flow, backup and recovery, network architecture, Infrastructure as a Service and more. Strong technical knowledge of server administration, network infrastructure, and IT security. ● Proficiency in IT systems monitoring and performance tuning.  Exceptionally analytical and communication skills.  Highly organized, detail oriented and naturally collaborative Even Better If You Have… Previous experience in a senior-level IT systems administration role.  Okta Certified Administrator  AWS Systems Administrator certification(s)  Practical experience with Agile, KANBAN and/lor Lean Six Sigma methodologies   Authorization to Work in the U.S.: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
