Project Manager (World of Tanks: HEAT) (m/f/i)

12k – 18k/mo Warsaw, PL on-site full time mid Mar 13, 2026

About this role

Job Overview About the Project  World of Tanks: HEAT is a cross-platform (PC and consoles) tank MMO shooter currently in development. We're building on the legacy of one of the most successful free-to-play games while creating something fresh for a new generation of players.   About the Team  Our teams own and develop core gameplay systems that define the player’s experience in battle, including hero abilities, agent creation, combat mechanics, and game modes. We build the systems that make moment-to-moment gameplay engaging, responsive, and strategically deep. From designing unique hero kits to implementing new gameplay loops and modes, we shape how players interact with the game at its core.  A team consists of game mode and hero designers, UX designers, C++ and UI developers, and QAs, working together to deliver cohesive gameplay experiences. We collaborate closely with art teams — including VFX, SFX, 2D Art and 3D modeling — to bring mechanics and abilities to life with strong visual and audio feedback. We hold ourselves to a high technical bar and care deeply about both craft and delivery.  As we grow, we need more support on the managerial side. You'll join an existing Delivery Manager who will support your onboarding and partner with you as we scale.   The Role  As a Project Manager, you work with the team to turn gameplay vision into deliverable iterations — from new hero mechanics and ability systems to full-fledged game modes. You balance competing priorities, ensure alignment between design and implementation, and keep development moving smoothly. You're not here to push tasks, but to build a system where a talented team can do their best work and ship reliably.  This role requires a servant leadership mindset. You enable teams rather than direct them. You create visibility, remove impediments, and empower people to self-organize and collaborate effectively across disciplines. You help navigate the complexity of gameplay development — where design iteration, technical constraints, and player experience must come together seamlessly.  You're a force multiplier. When you're doing your job well, the team delivers high-quality gameplay features faster, with clarity and confidence.  Reports to Delivery Manager What will you do? Role Mission: ensure predictable and efficient delivery of features by supporting Feature Owners and teams in planning, execution, and continuous improvement.  Planning & Delivery   Plan iteration and release scope with the team based on product priorities, feature scope, team capacity   Ensure realistic and stable commitments for each iteration   Run the estimation process and shape quarterly roadmaps, monthly releases, and bi-weekly iterations   Work with teams to find the best implementation paths for product requirements   Monitor delivery progress and adjust plans to maintain predictability   Identify risks early and drive mitigation actions   Process & Facilitation   Follow and support team processes within our broader framework   Facilitate core team ceremonies (refinements, plannings, and preparation sessions for monthly and quarterly cycles, retrospectives)  Support Feature Owners and teams in moving features through lifecycle phases (Concept → Prototyping → Production)   Track delivery metrics (throughput, cycle time, defect’s number, velocity) and use them to drive decisions   Identify bottlenecks and improve flow across delivery pipelines   Drive continuous improvement of team processes and ways of working   Coordination & Communication   Facilitate cross-team synchronization between teams, ensuring alignment without creating overhead   Balance requests from stakeholders against team capacity   Manage dependencies with external teams   Keep stakeholders informed on progress, risks, and tradeoffs   Help stakeholders refine priorities based on what's realistic   Manage expectations from both internal and external teams and stakeholders   Team Health & Performance  Remove blockers and enable team productivity   Identify and mitigate risks before they impact delivery   Facilitate conflict resolution within the team   Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment   Enable teams to self-organize and continuously improve  Out of Scope:  This role does not:  Own product backlog or prioritization  Define feature scope or requirements  Make design, technical decisions   Manage team directly.  What are we looking for? Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Producer, or Project Manager on game development teams (4+ years preferred)   Experience across all stages of game development or product development from concept to release and live operations   Strong stakeholder management skills - you can navigate competing interests, set expectations, build trust, and maintain alignment across teams and leadership levels   Strong facilitation skills - you can run a planning session that people find useful   Experience managing distributed or hybrid multi-cultural teams working across different locations or time zones   Ability to communicate clearly with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders   A servant leadership mindset - you see your role as enabling the team, not directing it   Resilience under pressure - you stay calm and effective when priorities shift or crises emerge   What additional skills will help you stand out? Experience in core gameplay production (heroes, abilities, game modes)  Experience with game feature development pipelines (concept → rapid prototyping → production)  Understanding of live game production, including seasonal content and player feedback  Experience working in cross-functional game development teams  Ability to work in creative, iterative environments  Strong personal gaming background (shooters, vehicle-based or competitive multiplayer games)  Background working in scaled agile environments with multiple dependent teams (LeSS, SAFe, or similar)   Work mode Full-time employment Onsite from Warsaw Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Poland at the time of application Type of Contract and Salary Employment Contract (umowa o prace) The salary range for this role is 12000 - 18000 PLN gross monthly (The final salary within the range will depend on the candidate’s experience, skills, and performance during the interview.
