About This Role Financial Assistance Representative exists to help Redirect Health members access affordable, high-quality healthcare by securing financial assistance and coordinating care with confidence and compassion. In this role, you will: Serve Redirect Health members as their advocate through patient assistance programs, charity care, and alternative funding optionsBe responsible for securing eligibility, coordinating care, and reducing out-of-pocket costs for membersDirectly impact healthcare affordability and access, ensuring members feel supported every step of the way This is a hands-on, hybrid role for someone who: Enjoys problem-solving, coordination, and relationship-buildingTakes ownership and follows throughWants their work to have real-world impact on people’s health and finances What You’ll Do In this role, you will: Own: Member financial assistance cases, including eligibility for patient assistance programs, 501(r) charity programs, and alternative resourcesSupport: Members through phone and email communication with clarity, empathy, and transparencyCollaborate with: Members, internal providers, hospitals, and external facilities to coordinate care at fair, negotiated ratesImprove: Cost management, coordination workflows, and member experience through strong documentation and follow-throughAdvocate for: Members’ financial and healthcare needs across provider offices and hospital systems A strong performer in this role is known for: Leading with empathy and advocacyNavigating complex situations calmly and thoughtfullyConsistently delivering timely coordination, cost savings, and member confidence How Success Is Measured Success in this role is measured by: Meeting or exceeding KPIs tied to coordination, advocacy, and turnaround timesSuccessful placement of members into appropriate financial assistance programsMember satisfaction, trust, and confidence throughout their care journeyPositive collaboration and contribution to internal improvement initiatives What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who: Brings relevant experience in healthcare administration, care coordination, or case managementCommunicates clearly and with empathyTakes ownership and follows throughEnjoys simplifying complex healthcare and financial processesWorks well across teams and external partnersCares deeply about helping people High School Diploma or GED: Required1+ year of healthcare administrative support or case management experience: RequiredPatient Assistance Advocate or Financial Counselor background: PreferredExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and EMR systems: Preferred Why Join Redirect Health What “Free Healthcare” Actually Means When we say free, we mean no money out of your paycheck and no cost when you need care: No monthly premiumsNo cost to add your spouse or childrenNo deductibles (we reimburse them)No out-of-pocket maximums This benefit alone can save families tens of thousands of dollars.
