Part-Time Kitchen Assistant / Cook (Weekdays) We’re looking for a reliable and organised part-time kitchen assistant to support our on-site kitchen during our busy lunch period. This role is primarily Monday to Friday, 10:30am – 2:30pm, with the opportunity for additional full-day shifts to cover staff leave or sick days when required, and is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, structured environment and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. You’ll be working with the kitchen team, assisting with prep, service, and keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and well-stocked. What your day will look like: Assisting with food prep and lunch serviceHelping with daily lunch ordersPreparing components for evening mealsRestocking snacks, drinks, and kitchen suppliesKeeping on top of dishes during serviceCleaning and maintaining the kitchen and dining areasRubbish removal and end-of-shift reset About you: Reliable and punctual — this is a key service periodQuick, efficient, and able to stay on task in a fast-paced windowOrganised with a strong eye for detailTakes pride in cleanliness and keeping things in orderComfortable taking direction and working within a teamSome kitchen or food prep experience preferredFood Handling Certificate is a bonus If you’re someone who works efficiently, keeps things tidy, and can jump in and help wherever needed, we’d love to hear from you.
