About the role We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the safe, efficient and reliable operations of our commercial office buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional after hours emergencies. What you'll do Responsibilities include the following: Ensure that each assigned each office building is maintained according to company standardsConduct routine checks and service equipment to prevent failures.Some heavy lifting of furniture and equipmentTroubleshoot problems and make repairsProvide excellent client-facing and internal communication skillsPerform all the above and other related duties as assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies Qualifications This position requires the following skills and qualifications: Technical school preferred, High School Diploma or G.E.D. requiredMinimum 1-2 years’ experience in commercial office property maintenance, preferredA general mechanical knowledge of plumbing, electrical and building tradesProficient in reading, writing, grammar and mathematical skillsPossess your own basic tools to perform building maintenanceHave a valid driver’s licenseAbility to pass a background check and drug screen (both required) Benefits We reward talent. Our benefit package includes health, vision, dental, 401k, group life insurance and a variety of supplemental insurance options, in addition to vacation and holiday pay.
