About the Role: We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented and driven Accountant to join our Finance/Accounting team. Ideally this candidate will have a strong background in accounting and a great deal of experience with data. We are looking for candidates with excellent organizational skills that can manage multiple tasks efficiently. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: Manage transaction activity of the businessHelp manage and process A/P and A/RRecord day-to-day financial transactions (e.g., expenses) Work with the team on month-end close responsibilitiesReconcile bank statementsHelp with revenue and expense accrualsMaintain and update the general ledgerHelp prepare month-end management reporting Gather, analyze and present data to support decision-making processes with in the organizationPresent findings and insights in a clear and concise mannerAssist in the preparation of financial statements, reporting and other month-end close activities Help ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policiesCreate visually compelling dashboards, reports and visualization of dataProvide insights into financial trends and variancesAssist with tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs)Assist in the development and monitoring of budgetsIdentify areas for cost reduction, revenue improvement and overall financial performance improvement Qualifications: A strong background in accounting and a great deal of experience with data and great attention to detailExcellent organizational skills that can manage multiple tasks efficientlyA degree in Accounting; prefer experience in operational Accounting roles or Big 4 public AccountingProficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsHighly organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven and able to prioritize tasksExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFluency in English (written and spoken)Experience with GAAP or IFRS accounting standardsExperience with data platforms (e.g., http://monday.com/, JIRA, Tableau, etc.)Knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) What We Offer: Competitive compensationOpportunity to work on challenging and rewarding projectsCollaborative and supportive work environmentFlexible work schedulesChance to be part of a growing and successful company Locations: Atlanta, GA
