Kraken Robotics is currently seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Technician to join our team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
Roles and Responsibilities
The primary purpose of the position is to develop and maintain inspections on parts and products.Complete incoming, outgoing and in process quality control inspections on parts and products.
Organize and create tasks for all required incoming quality control inspections.
Complete accurate quality control reports.
Initiate and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage and monitor requirements for RMA parts to suppliers.
Manage and update quality control procedures and documents as required.
Monitor and control configuration management (assets and calibrated equipment).
Participate in quality audits as required.
Other duties as assigned by the Quality Lead.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or Degree in electronics technology (or equivalent) with at least two years’ work experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills (technical reporting and engineering documentation).
A background in metrology an asset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures.
Experience in the use and maintenance of electronic test equipment.
Experience in the use of inventory systems.
High degree of organization with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Electronic troubleshooting experience is an asset.
Knowledge of dimensional mechanical inspection is an asset.
Previous experience in ISO9001 environment is an asset.
