Jo Description - The Generative AI Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls for AI/ML and Generative AI systems. This role ensures secure development, deployment, and monitoring of GenAI applications, protecting against emerging threats such as prompt injection, model poisoning, data leakage, and adversarial attacks. The engineer partners with AI/ML teams, cybersecurity, risk, and compliance stakeholders to embed security across the GenAI lifecycle. GenAI Security Architecture, Design secure architectures for LLM-based and generative AI systems Implement guardrails, access controls, and isolation mechanisms Conduct threat modeling for AI/ML pipelines  Secure Development & Testing Perform security reviews of prompts, embeddings, APIs, and model integrations Identify vulnerabilities such as prompt injection, data exfiltration, and jailbreak attacks Conduct red teaming and adversarial testing of GenAI applications Risk & Governance Ensure compliance with AI governance frameworks and regulatory requirements Support model risk assessments and AI security standards Document AI security policies, controls, and mitigation strategies Data Protection Implement data privacy safeguards (PII masking, tokenization, encryption) Secure training data pipelines and inference endpoints Monitor for data leakage and unauthorized model access Monitoring & Incident Response Establish logging and monitoring for AI systems Detect anomalous model behavior and abuse patterns Support incident investigations involving AI misuse or compromise Job Specification - Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or related field 10+ years in cybersecurity, application security, or cloud security Experience with AI/ML systems and LLM platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure AI, AWS Bedrock) Strong knowledge of: - Secure SDLC Cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) API security IAM and Zero Trust principles OWASP Top 10 and LLM security risks Preferred Qualifications= Experience with ML pipelines (MLOps) Knowledge of adversarial ML techniques Familiarity with AI governance frameworks (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001) Security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, OSCP, etc.) Key Skills Threat modeling for AI systems Prompt injection defense and guardrail implementation Secure API and microservices architecture Cloud-native security tools Risk assessment and regulatory compliance Strong collaboration and communication skills Success Metrics Reduction in AI security vulnerabilities Successful AI risk assessments and audits Secure deployment of GenAI applications Effective mitigation of AI-specific threats Locations: Chennai, India
