Job Summary
The Senior Program Manager is responsible for leading complex, cross‑functional programs that align with organizational strategy and business objectives. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive execution across multiple projects and teams while ensuring timely delivery, quality, and value realization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage large‑scale, enterprise‑wide programs from initiation through execution and closureDefine program vision, scope, objectives, success metrics, and governance structureDevelop and maintain detailed program roadmaps, schedules, budgets, and risk management plansCoordinate and oversee multiple interdependent projects and ensure alignment with business goalsPartner with senior leaders and stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, manage dependencies, and resolve issuesTrack program performance, manage risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies proactivelyEnsure effective communication across teams by providing regular status updates and executive‑level reportingDrive process improvement, best practices, and standardization across programsManage vendor relationships and external partners as requiredMentor and coach project and program managers, fostering a high‑performance cultureEnsure compliance with organizational policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field10+ years of experience in program or project management, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership roleProven experience managing large, complex, cross‑functional programsStrong understanding of project and program management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid)Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skillsDemonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, risks, and dependencies effectively
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent)Program/Project Management certifications such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or PRINCE2Experience working in matrixed or global organizationsDomain expertise relevant to the organization (e.g., technology, healthcare, finance, operations)
