The ideal candidate should have strong problem‑solving skills, experience with modern Java frameworks, and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain Java applicationsWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented codeDevelop RESTful APIs and integrate with databases and third-party servicesTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issuesParticipate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product, UI/UX)Contribute to system architecture and technical design discussionsEnsure application performance, scalability, and securitySupport deployment, monitoring, and production issues as needed Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldStrong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or above)Experience with Spring / Spring Boot frameworksKnowledge of RESTful web services and Microservices architectureExperience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)Understanding of OOP concepts, data structures, and design patternsFamiliarity with build tools such as Maven or GradleExperience with version control systems like GitAbility to write unit and integration tests Preferred / Nice to Have Experience with Hibernate / JPAKnowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Experience with Docker & KubernetesFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelinesExposure to messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood communication and collaboration abilitiesAttention to detail and qualityAbility to work independently and in a team environment Locations: Chennai, India
