About the role We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our interior construction and remodeling team. This role is responsible for executing high-quality finish carpentry and general interior construction work across residential and/or commercial projects. You will work independently on complex tasks while also supporting and mentoring junior carpenters on site. Success in this role requires strong technical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to consistently deliver work that meets high standards of safety, craftsmanship, and efficiency. This is a hands-on field leadership role where your expertise directly impacts project quality, timelines, and team performance. What you'll do Perform advanced interior construction tasks including demolition, framing, drywall, painting, flooring, trim, cabinetry, and window/door installationInterpret architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate executionIdentify site challenges proactively and implement practical solutionsMaintain organized, clean, and safe job sitesLead by example in safety compliance, craftsmanship, and productivity standardsCollaborate with supervisors, trades, and subcontractors to meet project milestonesMentor junior carpenters and reinforce best practices and safety protocolsContinuously improve efficiency, methods, and workmanship quality Qualifications 5+ years of experience in interior construction, remodeling, or carpentryStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, tools, and sequencing of workProven ability to read and execute from blueprints and construction documents Technical experience in some or all of the following Demolition & site prepFramingDrywall hanging & finishingPaintingFlooring installationTrim work (baseboards, crown molding, window & door casings)Kitchen cabinet installationWindow & door installationBasic plumbing (toilets, vanities, P-traps)Insulation & air sealing What You Bring Strong work ethic and consistent reliability on siteAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionTeam-oriented mindset with willingness to mentor othersCommitment to safety, quality, and craftsmanshipPositive attitude and ownership mentality Locations: Buffalo, NY
