country: US all locations: [New York, NY] commitment: Intern department: HR / Administration location: New York, NY team: HR Key Responsibilities: Support day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee inquiries Assist with recruiting coordination, including scheduling interviews and candidate communication Help maintain and update employee data across HR systems Support benefits-related processes and employee communications Assist with organizing and tracking HR documentation and workflows Contribute to HR projects and process improvements, including system enhancements Support reporting, data tracking, and ad hoc analysis Assist with special projects and initiatives across the HR team What Success Looks Like: Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy across HR processes and data Proactively supports the team by staying organized and managing multiple priorities effectively Builds a foundational understanding of the employee lifecycle and HR operations Contributes meaningfully to team projects and process improvements Communicates clearly and professionally with team members and employees Shows curiosity and a willingness to learn, ask questions, and take on new responsibilities Supports the team reliably during a high-volume period, helping ensure a smooth employee experience Qualifications & Skills: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in Human Resources, Business, or a related field Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Interest in Human Resources and employee experience Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Interest in using tools such as ChatGPT or other AI tools to improve workflows
