We’re looking for a high-energy, outbound-focused Account Executive to drive new business in a fast-paced, transactional sales environment.
As an Account Executive at MergeCo, you are responsible for developing, managing, and winning over prospective clients through the entire sales lifecycle, from initial contact through close. The Sales team combines product expertise, industry knowledge, and a commitment to helping new customers succeed on the platform to uncover prospects’ needs, priorities, and areas of opportunity.

Day in the Life
Generate new business through high-volume outbound prospecting (calls, email, LinkedIn)Run a full sales cycle from prospecting → demo → closeManage a high-velocity pipeline with a short sales cycleHelp prospective businesses evaluate our solutions and handle detailed questions about our product capabilitiesDeliver concise, compelling product demosHandle objections in real-time and move deals forward quicklyEstablish relationships, engage and "win over" key decision makers within prospective customers’ businesses, including C-level executives, outside sales reps, and accounting teamsConsistently hit and exceed monthly and quarterly quota targetsTrack activity and pipeline accurately in CRM (Salesforce)
Must Haves
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferredA minimum of one (1) year of quota-carrying high-volume SMB/Production SaaS experience with a track record of success, meeting or exceeding quotaAbility to quickly learn and understand the intricacies of our software product and relevant applications to unique customer workflowsProven track record of:High activity levels (calls, outreach)Closing deals in a short sales cycle environmentComfortable making cold calls daily (this is critical)Strong objection handling and ability to think on your feetCompetitive, goal-oriented, and motivated by performance metricsExcellent communication skills—clear, concise, and confidentHighly coachable and adaptable to feedbackTeam PlayerCollaborative
