ABOUT ENDURANCE Endurance is building the world's first modular subsea geothermal power plants, converting vast thermal resources under the ocean into gigawatts of baseload power. Backed by First Round Capital and Point72 Ventures, our founding team includes veterans from SpaceX, Helion, and Robinhood. We have completed multiple deep ocean deployments and are launching our generation pilot this year. By leveraging manufacturing scale, efficient drilling, and latent cooling on the seafloor, we are pioneering a new category of energy that outperforms traditional sources on both environmental impact and cost. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING You will be our first dedicated technical recruiter, focused primarily on finding and closing senior hardware engineers. Your days will be mostly outbound, where you'll often be the first Endurance representative people meet.. You might spend a morning building a pipeline of thermal systems engineers, then run a debrief with the hiring manager in the afternoon. You will also manage external recruiting firms and own our presence on Ashby. RESPONSIBILITIES - Run high-priority outbound searches for senior hardware engineering roles - Own the candidate pipeline from first touch through offer acceptance - Manage the day-to-day candidate experience: scheduling, communication, and follow-up - Partner with hiring managers on intake, calibration, and closing strategy - Manage external recruiting firms and sourcing partners - Maintain and optimize our ATS (Ashby) - Captain the weekly hiring priorities meeting QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of technical recruiting with a focus on hardware, aerospace, or deep tech - A track record of successful senior hardware engineering searches at a respected engineering company - Experience with outbound sourcing tools and strategies - STEM degree preferred BENEFITS & PERKS - Global Fieldwork: Travel to fascinating deployment sites along oceanic ridges in locations like the Pacific Northwest, Hawaii, Iceland, Japan, New Zealand, and the Azores - Hands-on Experience: Participate in sea trials and deployment operations in partnership with leading oceanographic institutions - Cutting-edge Development: Work with technology that spans high-power electronics, marine systems, and clean energy - Impactful Work: Help solve one of the world's most pressing challenges - Competitive Compensation: Comprehensive salary and equity packages - Benefits: Vision, Dental, Health insurance coverage - Dive Certification: Company-sponsored recreational dive certification
