About the role:
As an Information Security Engineer I, you will be a hands-on contributor focused on security operations, tools, and technical controls. This role is ideal for someone early in their security career who wants to grow by working closely with experienced security professionals while helping protect systems, applications, and data in on-prem and cloud environments.
You will support the monitoring, investigation, and remediation of security issues and contribute to improving the organization’s overall security posture.
What you will do:
Monitor and support security tools and systems (SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners)Assist with security incident detection, triage, and responseSupport endpoint security, DLP, and MDM initiativesHelp implement and maintain security controls across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environmentsAssist with vulnerability management, remediation tracking, and security assessmentsWork closely with IT teams to patch, harden, and secure systemsSupport security operations aligned with US business hoursDocument procedures, incidents, and security workflowsStay current on security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices
What you bring:
2–4 years of hands-on experience in Information Security or a technical IT rolePractical experience with security operations or SOC activitiesFamiliarity with tools such as SIEM, EDR/endpoint protection, IDS/IPS, or vulnerability scannersBasic understanding of networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud securityExperience or exposure to Azure and/or AWS environmentsAbility to follow playbooks, troubleshoot issues, and escalate appropriatelyStrong communication skills in English and ability to work with distributed teams
Nice if you have:
Experience with Microsoft Defender, Intune (MDM), or DLP toolsSecurity certifications such as Security+, GSEC, CISSP (associate), or similarExperience working in regulated environments (healthcare, finance, education)Prior experience supporting US-based security teams
