The Opportunity: We are looking for individuals with deep residential electrical install experience to help us improve processes and procedures that will ensure high quality and efficiency. You will be responsible for working as a part of a crew to remove gas furnaces, install electric heat pump systems, and collaborate with engineering teams on how the product can be improved and the install process streamlined. What You'll Do: Install required electrical to support heat pump installsCalculate electrical loadsUpgrade main electrical panels as neededRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagramsTroubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairsPerform preventive maintenance on electrical systemsCollaborate with other team members to complete projects efficientlyEnsure compliance with electrical codes and safety standardsTest electrical systems for functionality and efficiency What You Bring: Extensive residential retrofit experience requiredJourneyman/Licensed electrician in LA and surrounding areas preferred but other licenses or certifications consideredWell versed in newer technologies like SMART panels, splitters, sub-panels, to optimize when faced with main panel or full service upgradesWell versed in modern residential electrical building codesStrong knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in electrical workAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagramsExcellent problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and ability to work with precisionPhysical stamina to perform manual labor tasksValid driver's license Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $39 - $44 per hour Benefits: Dental Care, Vision Care & Life Insurance premiums fully paid by Jetson Health Insurance premium 85% paid by Jetson Education Support Parental Leave Top Up Tools Provided Uniform Provided Lunch Provided Work Location: In person - Burbank, CA Do you feel like you don't have everything that's listed above but can still do the job?
