By using our products, we can ensure that tickets are issued at the best possible time and at the best price As an Engineering Manager at Wenrix, you will lead a high-impact backend engineering team powering our airfare optimization products. What Will You Do? Your role is about helping the team move fast and build smart. You’ll play a key part in building systems that are not only reliable and scalable, but also truly solve real customer problems and drive business impact. While your focus will be on leading the team and driving execution, we’re looking for someone who’s also comfortable staying hands-on when needed — whether it’s reviewing code, troubleshooting production issues, or exploring new technical directions alongside the team. What You Bring 7+ years of experience in software engineering, including building and scaling backend systems2+ years of experience in a technical leadership roleA strong track record of delivering production-grade systems end-to-end — from design through deploymentA collaborative approach to leadership — you know how to support and guide strong engineers while creating space for others to lead technicallyComfortable being hands-on when needed — reviewing code, unblocking issues, or jumping into architecture discussionsExperience working in cloud environments (AWS is a plus)Familiarity with large-scale data or distributed systems is a strong advantageExperience with Python (or similar languages) and modern backend architectureBonus: exposure to data engineering, ML infrastructure, or working in fast-moving product teams Locations: Hybrid (Tel Aviv-Yafo, Tel Aviv District, IL)
