About this role
Momentum Behavior Services provides high-quality, evidence-based services to children, adolescents, and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, repair, and overall functionality of our clinic environments.
This role is responsible for helping ensure Momentum facilities, grounds, and equipment remain safe, operational, and well-maintained in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and comfortable handling a wide range of building maintenance and repair tasks across multiple locations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person, Byron/Rochester area
Responsibilities
Perform routine building maintenance, preventative maintenance, and general repair work across clinic locationsTroubleshoot and address minor facility issues involving drywall, painting, doors, hardware, flooring, fixtures, and other building componentsComplete light plumbing and light electrical repairs, replacements, and adjustments as neededAssist with maintenance and repair of facility equipment and operational systemsSupport interior and exterior building upkeep to ensure a safe, professional, and functional environmentPerform seasonal grounds and exterior maintenance, including snow removal, lawn care, and general site upkeep as neededOperate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectivelyAssist with clinic setup needs, furniture moves, minor installations, and facility improvement projectsIdentify maintenance concerns proactively and communicate repair needs to leadership in a timely mannerMaintain organized work areas, tools, and maintenance suppliesTravel between Momentum locations in the southern Minnesota area, with possible travel to additional clinics as the organization grows
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED requiredPrevious experience in building maintenance, property maintenance, facilities, or general repair work preferredWorking knowledge of basic mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and repair practicesAbility to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance-related equipmentAbility to read and follow basic operating instructions, safety guidelines, and work ordersStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and time management skillsAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond to maintenance needs efficientlyStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipReliable, organized, and accountable with a strong work ethicAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, and the public
