About the role We are looking to bring on a full time resource for functional safety engineering we offer 401k, pto, etc. What you'll do Defining HW and SW safety requirementsPerforming the verification planning (including safety verification plan to verify safety metrics, pre-silicon and post silicon)Defining and maintaining the Safety Manual.Be responsible for assessing and determining product line compliance to the ISO/IEC metrics.Direct re-use of safety cases and re-use of designs through advice, metrics reporting, and timely escalation in order to achieve the required standards of leadership in safety and cost.Recognize when and how to address critical system safety topics with customers and represent the business in forums.Participate in evaluations of proposed technical solutions (in decided architecture) with the purpose to judge the possibility of developing and calibrating a SW solution Qualifications Experience with SOC design and microprocessor architectureExperience with the ISO26262 standard is a mustExperience with software development is a plusExtensive knowledge of system safety and monitoring methods Talent101 pays referral fees.
