Foreman - Landscape Maintenance

We’re a supportive group of professionals who bring energy, skill, and attention to detail to every property. This seasonal leadership role runs from March/April through October or November. As a Landscape Maintenance Foreman, you’ll lead a dedicated crew while working closely with the Maintenance Field Manager. You’ll be hands-on in the field, guiding your team, ensuring quality work, and helping bring divisional goals to life — all while enjoying the outdoors.   What will you do around here? Plan, schedule, and delegate daily work to keep jobs on trackLead, coach, and support your crew’s performance and developmentTroubleshoot challenges, manage incidents, and support conflict resolutionInspect, maintain, and perform minor repairs on equipmentOperate a truck and trailer safely and professionallyRepresent Team Horizon with professionalism and excellent customer serviceChampion safety through toolbox talks and proper PPE useComplete daily and weekly paperwork including inspections, reports, and timecards   We’d love to chat if you have: Education & Certifications Secondary school completion (asset); horticulture education (asset)Industry certifications (Red Seal, CLT, Pesticide Applicator) an assetSafety certifications (OFA Level 1, Fall Protection) an assetValid Class 5 driver’s license (required) Experience & Skills 2+ years in landscaping or equivalent educationExperience leading or supervising a crewComfortable with physically demanding outdoor workStrong communication, teamwork, and customer service skillsExperience operating landscape equipmentBasic mechanical and plant knowledgePositive attitude and strong work ethic   Physical Requirements This is a 100% labour-based role requiring lifting 50+ lbs and repetitive bending, crouching, twisting, and standing or walking for extended periods.   Work Environment Your office is outdoors — rain or shine. Shifts are 4 x 10-hour days, giving you a 3-day weekend. Dress for the weather and embrace the elements.
