This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to grow within a reputable, forward-thinking company that values your expertise and dedication.   Key Responsibilities: Pouring, screeding, and finishing various types of concreteSafely and effectively using a variety of tools and equipment as trained and requiredApplying a range of concrete finishing techniques, including trowel, broom, stamped, and exposed aggregateOperating power trowels and finishing equipmentAssisting with the loading and unloading of materialsPlacing and tying rebarSupporting form carpenters in building forms for benches, sidewalks, walls, and other concrete structuresPerforming basic maintenance to ensure tools and equipment remain in good working conditionMaintaining strong working relationships with customers, coworkers, and supervisorsParticipating in company-required training and performance reviews Requirements: Minimum 5 years of concrete finishing experienceProficient in operating power trowelsSkilled in decorative and architectural concrete techniques, including various finishes and applicationsValid driver’s license and access to reliable transportationAbility to frequently lift 30–85 lbs and work in physically demanding environments Compensation and Benefits: Hourly wage of $37–$45, depending on experienceOvertime opportunities available4% Vacation Pay, paid on every chequeExtended Health Benefits (employee copay)RRSP Matching ProgramProfit Sharing Program   Join Our Team At Horizon Contracting Group, you’re not just filling a role—you’re building a future.
