Location: Richmond, VA (100% In person) Employment Type: Full-Time (Hourly, Non-Exempt) Compensation: $20–$25 per hour + overtime (Typical annual earnings: $57,000–$72,000 including overtime) About the Role We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to support cross-functional initiatives across customer operations, customer success, finance & billing, and internal business operations. This is a floating, high-impact role designed for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and wants exposure to how a high-growth company actually runs behind the scenes. You will work directly with senior leaders and department heads to keep projects organized, on schedule, and moving forward. You will use modern project management platforms and AI tools to streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and ensure execution excellence. What You’ll Do Coordinate and track cross-functional projects across customer success, operations, finance, and internal initiativesMaintain detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverablesMonitor task completion and proactively follow up with stakeholdersSupport client-facing project coordination and onboarding processesAssist with billing, invoicing, documentation, and operational reportingIdentify workflow inefficiencies and propose improvementsUse project management software (e.g., Asana, ClickUp, Monday, etc.) to manage task flowLeverage AI tools to automate tracking, reporting, documentation, and communicationPrepare executive summaries and internal performance updatesJump in where needed — this role floats across departments Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required2+ years of work experience in business operations, consulting, customer success, finance, or similar operational roleHighly organized with exceptional attention to detailComfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skillsTechnically proficient and comfortable using modern SaaS toolsCurious, adaptable, and solution-orientedThrives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments Bonus if you: Have startup experienceHave worked in professional services, consulting, or compliance-driven industriesHave experience using AI tools to increase productivity Work Environment & Expectations Hourly, non-exempt role$20–$25 per hour, depending on experienceOvertime expected during high-volume periods (up to ~50 hours per week)Typical total annual compensation ranges from $57,000–$72,000, including overtimeHigh ownership, high growth, high expectationsThis role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to accelerate learning, gain exposure to multiple business functions, and grow into senior operations, strategy, or leadership roles.
