Position Summary:
As a Machine Operator, you’ll be at the heart of our production process, playing a vital role in crafting high-quality wet wipes and related products. This role is perfect for someone who’s mechanically inclined, detail-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Responsibilities:
Set up, adjust, and operate converting linesMonitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments to ensure consistent product qualityConduct regular inspections of finished products and packagingEnsure all output meets established specifications and quality standardsPerform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairsTroubleshoot equipment issues and escalate to maintenance or supervisors as neededFollow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environmentEnsure safe operation of all machineryTrack usage of production and packaging materialsAccurately complete production logs, reports, and maintenance recordsDocument any deviations or quality concernsNotify supervisors of low stock and assist with inventory countsWork closely with production leaders, maintenance staff, and quality control teamsAssist in cross-training new team members to promote versatility and strengthen line performanceUphold strong attention to detail in all aspects of production, documentation, and product inspectionsDemonstrate a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to meeting or exceeding daily production targetsSupport team goals and contribute to a smooth workflowParticipate in training for new equipment and processesShare ideas to improve efficiency, safety, and product quality
Qualifications and requirements:
Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with Teknoweb or similar converting lines.Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production machinery and mechanical systems.Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and manuals, including SOPs.Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to product quality.Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move materials, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks as required.Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting equipment issues.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Adherence to health and safety regulationsWillingness to work occasional overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods (8–12 hours)
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
· Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and manual handling of materials
· Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to machinery
· Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Education:
High school diploma or GED (required)Technical or vocational training in manufacturing or mechanical systems (preferred)
