About the Role We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Curriculum Developer to join our curriculum team. This role focuses on building and maintaining high-quality computer science curriculum for high school, with a strong emphasis on supporting teachers through effective instructional materials and resources. This is an in-office position, which would require 5 days a week in the CodeHS Chicago office at 747 N LaSalle in River North. What You’ll Do Build and maintain computer science curriculum for high school coursesCollaborate with the curriculum team to design and launch new coursesDevelop teacher-facing materials including lesson plans, handouts, and activitiesWrite and maintain alignments to standardsCustomize curriculum for schools, districts, and statesCreate instructional videos and supporting materialsDevelop familiarity with the CodeHS course catalog Qualifications 3+ years of experience working in the K–12 education systemExperience with 6–12 computer science education preferredBasic programming knowledge (e.g., Java, Python)Strong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyCreative, positive, and solution-oriented mindset Location Full-time, in-office role in Chicago (River North).
