What You’ll Get to Do The Estimator is focused on providing detailed estimates to our customers in a timely manner.  Regularly work from architectural drawings and specifications, shop drawings or elevation take-offs and reports to the Estimating Supervisor. This role is perfect for an individual who is organized, a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, and prioritize workload.  A vital member of the Estimating Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader. This role will be working on-site in Westbrook, ME. Job responsibilities include: Evaluate bid specifications and drawings, ensuring that the required data is obtained to successfully bid and win the project. Estimators must aggressively follow-up with subcontractors to ensure that bids are received. Estimators also work with the Project Management teams to follow-up on bids and budgets to close the business. Create stock length cost proposals for customers based on elevation take-offs, using our price book and computer software Provide detailed estimates to our customers in a timely manner. Work from architectural drawings and specifications, shop drawings or elevation take-offs Follow up on estimates and provide feedback concerning market pricing levels Achieve acceptable sales and margin levels.
