We are an experienced team of bookkeepers and administrators with multiple decades of combined experience across industries allowing companies to focus on their core business while we handle the rest.  Founded in 2023, our team of ~100 professionals supports ~75 clients across a diverse range of industries. We recently reached $6M of contracted ARR and are growing rapidly (over 200% LTM growth). Howard is seeking a detail-oriented GL Accountant with strong inventory and supply chain experience to support our consumer retail and e-commerce clients. This role combines accounting and operational responsibilities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and inventory management in fast-paced e-commerce environments. Key Responsibilities Manage general ledger accounts related to inventory and COGSPerform month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliationsReconcile inventory sub-ledgers to the GL and resolve discrepanciesTrack inventory movements and support inventory auditsPartner with supply chain teams on inventory, purchasing, and costingEnsure accurate recording of purchase orders, landed costs, and stock valuationReconcile and manage transactions from Shopify and QuickBooksPrepare reports on inventory, margins, and key KPIs Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3–5+ years of accounting experience with inventory exposureExperience in e-commerce or consumer goodsStrong knowledge of GL, inventory accounting, and COGSProficiency in QuickBooks and Excel Preferred: Experience with Shopify and 3PLsFamiliarity with ERP/inventory systemsCPA Key Competencies Attention to detailAnalytical mindsetStrong reconciliation skillsCross-functional collaborationAbility to work in fast-paced environmentsPerformance MetricsGL and inventory reconciliation accuracyMonth-end close timelinessInventory variance reductionCOGS and margin accuracy Locations: Chile; Uruguay; Costa Rica; Colombia; Argentina; Mexico
