Job Summary: VO Brothers Mechanical is looking for a VDC / BIM Modeler to support our mechanical piping and plumbing projects through accurate, coordinated building models and strong VDC processes. This role works closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to improve constructability, reduce clashes, and keep projects moving efficiently from design through installation. If you’re detail-oriented, technically strong in BIM tools, and comfortable collaborating across disciplines, this role gives you the chance to have real impact on how projects are designed and built. Who You Are & What You Bring: Experience working in VDC and BIM environments, preferably on mechanical systemsProficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam strongly preferredStrong understanding of mechanical piping, plumbing systems, and construction processesAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specificationsStrong problem-solving skills with attention to detailAbility to collaborate effectively with project teams and multiple tradesClear communication skills, both written and verbalWorking knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to BIM and VDC Role Responsibilities & Duties Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models for mechanical piping and plumbing systems using Revit and AutoCADCoordinate mechanical models with other trades to ensure alignment throughout design and constructionPerform clash detection using Navisworks and lead resolution efforts with internal teams and external partnersProduce accurate construction drawings, spool drawings, schedules, and supporting documentation from BIM modelsSupport VDC workflows including constructability reviews, sequencing, and coordination planningAssist with 4D scheduling and 5D cost-related modeling as required by the project teamUpdate and revise models as designs evolve and field conditions changeEnsure models comply with company standards, project requirements, and industry best practicesParticipate in coordination meetings and contribute technical input to solve complex system conflictsSupport project managers and engineers by providing model-based insights for planning and executionHelp train and support team members on BIM tools, standards, and workflows when needed Why Join Us?
