About the Role In this role, you will: Use AI in your own workflow every day. Draft proposals, prep demos, research prospects, and build PoC documentation with AI tools. You're not just selling AI; you're running on it. This is a hard requirement, not a nice-to-have. Run the technical sales cycle. Lead customized product demos, own RFP responses, design proof-of-concepts, and present to technical decision-makers and C-level executives. You mirror prospect data in live walkthroughs — not generic decks. Design AI-augmented solutions. Map carrier underwriting workflows and show them what the AI-native alternative looks like. Translate how Sixfold's models work — document processing, risk signal extraction, automated decisions — into language that resonates with underwriters and executives alike. Close the loop between field and product. Surface patterns from prospects — objections, integration needs, feature gaps — and feed that signal back to engineering and product. Bridge sales to implementation with clean, comprehensive handoffs. What Success Looks Like Within 90 days you will have: 30 days: Completed platform training, shadowed customer calls, and deeply studied carrier underwriting workflows. You know how the AI works and you know the pain points it solves. 60 days: Mastered the core demo, began customizing it for different personas and carrier profiles, and joined live discovery calls. You're handling Q&A independently. 90 days: Owned 2–3 qualified opportunities end-to-end (discovery, demo, PoC). Built ROI models tied to real prospect outcomes. Contributing to an active pipeline with a clear path to your first technical win. About You You use AI tools daily and fluently — drafting, prepping, researching, building. You've already figured out how to do your job better with AI, and you bring that instinct into every customer interaction. You have 3-5 years in Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering at a SaaS company with enterprise buyers. You understand AI/ML concepts well enough to explain document processing, risk signal extraction, and automated decision-making to a CIO under pressure without flinching. You've built and delivered customized demos before. You measure success by whether the deal advances, not how smooth the slides looked. You thrive in early-stage, fast-growth environments and are comfortable with ambiguity and change. You can own problems end-to-end and proactively devise solutions. Insurance domain knowledge is a strong plus. Speaking the language of underwriters, actuaries, and carrier ops teams — and understanding nuances like how a fish and chip shop in Cornwall differs from one in central London — is a real differentiator. London-based, able to travel to customer sites, comfortable in the London office 2–3 days per week.
