We are seeking a passionate and experienced Community & Events Manager to lead and grow our Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) community, and manage Noctrix Health events, including trade shows and regional gatherings. You will play a crucial role in building an engaged and supportive community for those affected by RLS, while driving awareness and collaboration through strategic events and partnerships.
***This is a full-time, hybrid position located in our Pleasanton Headquarters. We require an in-office presence of at least 3 days per week.***
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement community-building strategies for RLS patients and caregivers through online platforms, social media, and forums
Foster active and meaningful engagement, promoting support and awareness of RLS
Manage community feedback and inquiries, ensuring prompt and empathetic responses
Organize and host online community events (webinars, Q&A sessions, etc.) to share information, provide support, and increase engagement
Collaborate with the marketing team to create content that resonates with the RLS community
Identify and cultivate relationships with healthcare professionals, advocacy groups, influencers, and other industry partners to amplify outreach
Represent the company at key industry events and conferences, networking with partners and stakeholders
Collaborate on joint initiatives with partners to raise awareness and provide value to the RLS community
Plan, coordinate, and execute company trade shows and regional events, ensuring seamless execution and maximum impact
Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and budget management
Oversee event promotion, registration, and post-event follow-up, collecting feedback and insights to improve future events
Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns for events
Collaborate with the creative team to deliver educational and engaging content related to RLS for the community
Regularly report on community insights, engagement metrics, and event performance
Develop communication strategies to drive community participation and awareness of events and initiatives
Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of related experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent project management skills
Experience with large corporate tradeshow management and execution in the medical or healthcare space
Experience with social media strategy and execution (pertaining to community building and event awareness)
Experience driving collaboration with multiple teams to achieve results
Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Compensation:
Base pay: $80,000–$110,000 per year + bonus
