Financial Assistant 32–40 hours per week | Enschede (Hybrid possible) About the companyQuix Quantum is a fast-growing, international deep-tech company working at the forefront of quantum photonics. We operate across multiple European entities and collaborate with partners around the world. To support our continued growth, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Assistant to strengthen our finance and operations team. Your role As a Financial Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial administration across our Dutch and German entities. You will work closely with external partners and internal stakeholders in finance, HR, and operations.   Key responsibilities Responsible for daily bookkeeping activities across Dutch and German entities Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Prepare and execute weekly payment runs Manage the expense process, including reviewing submissions and exporting data to accounting systems Support monthly and quarterly closing processes Assist with ICP and VAT returns Update and monitor the WKR budget on a monthly basis Coordinate payroll for all entities in collaboration with external payroll providers Monitor and ensure timely completion and approval of timesheets Support various HR-related filings and questions, including immigration and expat rulings Assist with the accounting of subsidy projects (highly recommended experience)   Your profile Essential: Proven experience with both Dutch and German administration and reporting Strong accuracy and attention to detail Independent, proactive, and eager to learn Comfortable working in an international environment English is required; Dutch and German are highly desirable for communication with external partners MBO+ level with at least 10 years of relevant experience, orHBO level with 3–5 years of relevant experience Experience with subsidy project accounting is a strong plus   What we offer A role in an innovative, high-tech international company Hybrid working possibilities A collaborative and informal work environment Room for growth and development as the company scales Competitive compensation aligned with experience   Location 📍 Enschede, The Netherlands (Hybrid possible)   Offices: Enschede, Overijssel, Netherlands (Quix BV);
