The ideal candidates will have a passion for the craft of carpentry with 5 years’ carpentry experience, preferably with wood processing. This is a full-time position reporting to the Shift Supervisor. ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE: Reading blueprints/shop drawingsLaying out, building templates, jigs, utilizing hand/shop and air toolsEmploying best practice in fabricationFraming within the prescribed tolerances in both rough/finish carpentry through to coating applicationRigging and loading for site installationEye for quality control/assurance and safety from start to finish KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE NEEDED: To be successful in this position you will be reliable, self-motivated, disciplined, take ownership for your work and have a good command of the English language. REQUIRED: 5 years' carpentry experience preferredFirst Aid Level One, Fall Protection and WHMIS CertificatesSome selective project travel may be required. SHIFTS AVAILABLE: Day Shift - 6:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday.
