Job Summary
Seeking an experienced PeopleSoft consultant with strong functional, development, and/or administration expertise to support a customer’s Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) PeopleSoft installation This position provides hands-on functional and development consulting services at the client site and requires a cleared professional who excels in technical problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and system enhancementWe are looking for motivated self-starters who enjoy solving complex challenges and working directly with customers and executive leadership in secure environments
Primary Responsibilities
Provide functional, technical, and development support for PeopleSoft ELM within a government or defense environmentAssess high-level architectural designs; research implementation roadmaps; conduct feasibility assessmentsTranslate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable guidance aligned with customer outcomesDrive customer buy-in and facilitate development processes as neededDevelop, test, troubleshoot, and optimize PeopleSoft modules and system enhancementsCollaborate with end users and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver high-quality solutionsProduce reporting artifacts and explain technical concepts to users with varying technical backgroundsWork independently and as part of a project team to execute system implementations, upgrades, and enhancementsMake informed recommendations rooted in deep knowledge of the PeopleSoft ecosystem to ensure low-cost, long-term maintainabilitySupport the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and contribute to project management activities for small- to medium-sized efforts
Required Qualifications
Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope PolygraphMinimum 8 years of relevant technical experienceUndergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent experienceExpertise with:PeopleSoft ELM, HR, and FinancialsSQLPeopleTools
Strong knowledge of:Selective AdoptionPeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM)PeopleSoft Query ManagerELM data dictionary
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build rapport with clients and team membersExperience managing small- to medium-sized technical projectsDemonstrated ability to work effectively in secure, fast-paced environmentsDeep understanding of the full software development life cycle (SDLC)Passion for technology, continuous learning, and exploring innovative solutionsAbility to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
Desired Qualifications
Strong programming fundamentals and understanding of database conceptsAdvanced troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skillsExperience with Agile/SCRUM methodologiesCloud experience (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc.)
Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
