Job Summary The selected individual will support DevOps activities as a member of an agile development team for a large complex enterprise systemThe position requires a dedicated software engineer who will work on a variety of DevOps tasking, with a focus on automating processes and ensuring efficient software deliveryThe individual must be willing to learn and adopt new technologies and methodologies and must consider the system's end-to-end IT infrastructure when implementing changes and improvements Primary Responsibilities Managing tools that support software development, deployment, and integrated testingIntegrating project functions and resources across the full product lifecycleIdentifying manual processes and implementing automation to improve efficiencySelecting, configuring, and maintaining appropriate CI/CD toolsImplementing and supporting development, testing, and automation tools while optimizing the underlying IT infrastructureEnsuring that all system changes and improvements maintain required security standardsDesigning, building, and continuously improving CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration, delivery, and deploymentDemonstrating persistence and ownership when facing challenges, with a strong commitment to program goalsCollaborating with and assisting team members across the program, as needed, to achieve shared objectives Required Qualifications Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope PolygraphAt least 8 years of relevant DevOps experienceMust have at least 5 years of experience managing tools that support software development, deployment, and integrated testingMust have at least 5 years of experience working with CI/CD frameworksMust have meaningful system administration experience (primarily Windows, with some Linux)Must have experience with several of the following: Java, Groovy, Python, PowerShell, Batch, Bash scripting, JavaScript, and AngularJS. Must have experience with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, Rhapsody, and WebStormMust have experience with software source control and configuration management toolsMust have experience working in a virtualized environment, including managing virtual machines (VMs)Must have experience with container-based platforms used for automated application deploymentMust be motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn new techniques and technologies, while adhering to best practices in test automationMust have a strong understanding of sound software development principles and practicesMust be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writingMust be an independent thinker capable of producing high-quality work, both individually and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment Desired Qualifications Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related fieldExperience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQL ServerExperience with web application user interface development, database design and structures, Spring Framework, and working with technologies such as AngularJS, JSON, HTML, XML, and XSLTExperience with Scrum and/or the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), SAFe Agilist certification, or prior experience as a member of an Agile team Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans.
