Job Description: Under the supervision of the Director of Nutrition Services, the Outpatient Registered Dietitian performs professional duties by providing comprehensive nutrition assessments and medical nutrition counseling to primary care patients of Valle del Sol in the outpatient setting. The Registered Dietitian also plans and implements one-on-one diabetes education sessions and group classes. Job Qualifications: Arizona State license to practice as a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN); oror credentialed as an RD/RDN within 6 months of hire for exam eligible candidateStrong initiative, creativity, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and flexibility skills, and the ability to multi-task.Ability to collaborate with professional colleagues as necessary to provide quality careMust be able to execute conflict resolution. Ability to develop routine reports and correspondence.Strong verbal, written, and communications skills.Knowledge of MS Windows 365 environment and/or Electronic Health Records Systems. Excellent customer service.Ability to provide culturally sensitive services.Must have or be able to obtain a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.Must possess reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.Basic Life Support trained or the ability to be trained within 10 business days from hire date.TB Screening Record and PPD/QuantiFERON/Chest x-ray upon hire (as applicable).Vaccinations/Titer’s Test/Declination Form: Flu, Hep B, MMR, Tdap, Varicella.
