Work on modern, standardized commercial kitchen facilities Predictable environments → faster diagnostics, less guesswork Mix of hands-on repair + system troubleshooting + facility support Opportunity to grow into Facilities or Regional leadership roles Be part of a rapidly growing operation in a $100B+ industry Independent problem-solving with access to a collaborative support network (engineering, senior techs) for complex escalations   What you’ll do Refrigeration & HVAC Maintenance Perform preventative maintenance and complex repairs on commercial refrigeration systems (WIC/R, Walk-Ins, Reach-Ins) as a primary priority, alongside HVAC systems(Accurex, Captiveaire, Trane, Carrier) (RTUs, exhaust fans, hoods, make-up air units, DOAS systems) Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues across multiple sites Support refrigeration and kitchen ventilation systems Facility Operations Support Travel between multiple sites (number of sites vary by region) throughout the week across the Greater Bay Area area Conduct site inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently Handle basic electrical and plumbing maintenance as needed Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and warranty work System Performance & Troubleshooting Use Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor performance and diagnose issues Provide remote troubleshooting support to onsite teams and vendors Review reports (startup, testing, balancing) to verify system performance New Site Support Assist with new facility openings by verifying installation and system functionality Identify issues early and coordinate corrective actions What we’re looking for Required 5+ years of commercial refrigeration and HVAC experience HVAC Universal certification (EPA, trade school, or equivalent) Expertise in Walk-In Coolers/Freezers (WIC/R) and specialized refrigeration equipment, with additional experience in RTUs and ventilation Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Comprehensive knowledge around compressors & key components Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites locally Preferred Experience in restaurants, hospitality, or multi-site facilities Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems   Why join us  Demand for online food delivery is growing really fast! That’s why all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week.  The base starting rate for this role is $34 - 42/hr + Overtime Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
